This page explains what iris-playbook.com stores in your browser, what for, for how long and how you can object.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Websites may also use other local storage technologies with an equivalent purpose, such as localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB. We refer to all of them jointly as “cookies and similar technologies”. This Site sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics.

The cookie_consent item and the offline queues are strictly necessary — to remember your choice and to avoid losing a submission — and by their nature do not require consent.
4. Data we process
- Browsing data: pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, clicks and form interaction.
- Technical data: device, browser, operating system, language, screen size and referring page.
- Browser identifier: the pseudonymised identifier in section 3.
- IP address and approximate location (country, city, network operator). The IP address is personal data.
5. Purpose and legal basis
To measure and improve the operation of the Site. Basis: our legitimate interest in analysing the use of our own website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, the consent you give through the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is not used for behavioural advertising and is not sold.
6. Retention
Browsing records are kept for a maximum of 30 days on this website's server and up to 12 months in the controller's centralised analytics system, where they may be consolidated with records from other services operated by the same controller.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Providers hosting the site and operating the analytics act as processors. To derive the approximate location from the IP address we use an IP geolocation service based in the United States, an international transfer covered by the safeguards of Chapter V GDPR. The specific identity of each processor is in the controller's record of processing activities, available on request at info@americanlean.ai.
8. How to accept, reject or manage storage
A notice lets you accept or reject the analytics; if you reject, your browsing is not recorded and your choice is remembered. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, or use private browsing. Nothing breaks: a new anonymous identifier simply starts.
9. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, by writing to info@americanlean.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, which you can identify through the European Data Protection Board (in Spain, the AEPD).
